EVER WONDER WHILE FOIL HAS A SHINY SIDE AND A DULL SIDE
Well the shiny side of foil reflects heat, and the dull side does not.
When I am cooking a casserole or anything that needs covered, I always put the shiny side down so the heat stays inside the dish!
Foil Tip: If you are making a dish, most common dishes topped with cheese, and cover with foil, just spray a little cooking spray on the foil so the cheese doesn’t stick to the foil.
It’s the worst when your oven timer goes off and your lasagna is done and you can’t wait to take that first bite. You go to peel the foil off your dish and all the cheese comes off with it! That so makes me unhappy!
I love foil in so many ways………it makes my life easier so why wouldn’t I right?
