Tip of the Day: Freeze Rice Too!
Whether you use instant or regular ‘ol long grain rice I just cook according to package directions, cool, place in baggie, squeeze air out, seal, label, and place flattened in freezer.
I don’t usually cook rice just to freeze it……….this is usually one of those, “cook once, eat twice” kinda things.
For this post I just happened to be making my Grandma Blair’s Chicken and Rice Casserole Recipe, made extra rice and froze the rest.
