I get a lot of questions about Cheese Soup. I have tried several recipes before, but I promise you, if we are at all alike, this will be your new one only Cheese Soup recipe
Like I said, I have tried lots of cheese soup recipes, but this one is super easy and my favorite. I got the recipe from my husbands grandma, which is where I tasted this soup for the first time.
If you don’t think Velveeta is a “real” cheese like I do ( grew up with it and love the creamy texture it gives everything), then this recipe is probably not for you.
I personally have not liked the other cheese soups I have tried with the fancy cheeses, because texture gets funky for me.

Cheese Soup

Ingredients
- 3 c. diced potatoes
- ¾ c. diced celery
- ¾ c. diced carrots
- ¼ c. diced, onions
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes
- 3-4 T flour
- 1 quart milk
- 1 lb. velveeta cheese, diced
- Real bacon bits
Instructions
- Cook the first 5 ingredients in as little water as possible until tender.
- Add in flour until incorporated
- Add in milk and cheese until melted
- Garnish with parsley if desired
- Enjoy!
