Freezer-Friendly Orange Marmalade Pork Chops are part of one of my Freezer Meal Plans (Click here to see full plan).
You can either make these chops ahead and freeze, cook in crock pot, or in oven. So versatile and easy- and a great recipe for the kids to help with.
- Mix all ingredients and whisk together.
- Poke holes in the chops with a fork.
- Pour marinade into 2-Gallon freezer bags. Should make enough for about 1 cup in each bag ( Click here to see this awesome tool to make freezer cooking a whole lot easier).
- Double Bag and place flat in freezer.
To Prepare:
- Defrost on sheet pan in fridge.
- To cook you can either place in crockpot on low for about 4 hours (my porkchops were pretty thin so it didn’t take a second longer than 4 hours).
Or
Place in a baking dish with the juice and bake 375 degrees for about 20-25 minutes or until done since time will vary on the thickness of your chops ( Click here to see my must have digital thermometer)
Serving Suggestions:
I added baby potatoes into the crock pot to cook alongside the chops. Then I served it with a side of greenbeans, creamed corn, and peaches.
Meal Morph Leftovers Into:
Your favorite Chicken Salad recipe, shred for sandwiches, or freeze for later use in a casserole.
