15 Minute One-Pot Wonder Pasta and Meatballs I dread the hours of my day driving home from work and not having dinner planned……..EEERRRRGGGG! Anyone else with me?
When this happens 2 things instantly pop into my mind………
- Breakfast for Dinner
- Pasta
So I get home, run to the freezer (okay I walk, I’m being a little dramatic) and see what kind of protein I can quickly add to my pasta because God for Bid we have a meal without meat! Right?!
My meat of choice tonight are the time saving frozen meatballs!
I had pasta leftover in my fridge from the cook once, eat twice meal I made the day before.
INgredients:
- Frozen Meatballs
- Pasta of any kind
- Spaghetti Sauce(click to see Tandy’s Quick Versatile Tomato Sauce)
- Parmesan cheese, optional
- I threw the meatballs (If you remember put the meatballs in the fridge before you leave for work the morning of) in a skillet and started to warm and brown them quickly over a medium to medium high heat.
- Open your cans of tomatoes. You can just use tomato sauce if you don’t have crushed on hand, I just find I really like that extra texture the crushed give to the sauce.
- Pour your spaghetti sauce over the meatballs (the meatballs don’t have to be completely defrosted at this point they will keep cooking as the sauce warms).
- Once sauce is warmed through add your cooked pasta, and top with some parmesan cheese if desired and serve 🙂
Phew! You just made dinner in 15 minutes from start to finish! Now that can make a bad day go good 🙂 Now if only I could leave clean up for my husband….HHHMMMM
