I hope you are enjoying these challenges as much as I am? I love how they aren’t too overwhelming too. I have to admit I helped my grandma clean her house today so I did’t dress in something nice :/ But I do agree how it helps set you up for success.
So I would say I typically stay pretty on top of going through my closet after each season and get rid of the clothes I didn’t wear. Now before you see my pics keep in mind that I keep almost all my “stuff” in my closet. I grew up with most of our clothes folded and very little hung, but when I met my husband it was the total opposite, you hang everything!
Even though I keep on top of my closet, after listening to Crystal’s periscope this morning, she said to ask yourself when making the decision to keep, throw, or donate ask, “Does this item bring joy to your life or make you happy?” With that said, I ended up removing 2 garbage bags of jeans, bags/purses, and shoes! I am embarassed that I thought I kept on top of my closet :/
Kinda hard to get a good pic into my closet but can you see the before and after? I finally rid of some of my favorite jeans (my sister is gaining them, but still a sad day), accepting my new figure as a mommy of 3. They have been sitting in my closet for about 2 1/2 years now and I’m just finally deciding to accept my figure for this season of my life right now anyways 🙂
