I believe I ran across these 5 Minute No-Bake Energy Protein Balls on pinterest of course. My whole family Love Love Love’s these. They are super quick to throw together and I think my kids think they are getting away with eating cookie dough or something- but the great thing about it there isn’t a drop of processed sugar in them! As parents don’t we love it when we can trick them…hehe 😉
No, I know I sound like broken record when I say this but REMEMBER my recipes are guidelines so if you need to leave something out or sub something else that is totally fine.
For instance you can sub crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy or chia seeds instead of flax, etc.
These 5 Minute No-Bake Energy Protein Balls really do curb my hunger when I need a little snack before lunch or dinner. My hubby loves throwing these into his lunch for work too.

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 c. oatmeal
- 1/2 c. peanut butter (or other nut butter)
- 1/3 c. honey
- 1 c. coconut, shredded
- 1/2 c. flaxseed/chia seed
- 1/2 c. mini/regular chocolate chips
- 1 t. vanilla
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Throw all ingredients into a bowl and mix with a sturdy wooden spoon.
- If you don’t mind getting a little dirty you can dig in with your hands to mix.
- After all mixed together well, grab a scoop or spoon and start rolling into individual balls.
- Place in a baggie or airtight container- they wont last long 🙂
- Now eat all you want- they are healthy right?
