Breakfast Pizza. How do you like yours? Cheesy, meaty, creamy? See how my mom and I take on breakfast pizza with my MOTHER DAUGHTER BREAKFAST PIZZA recipes.
Who doesn’t love waking up to a breakfast pizza, no matter how it’s made. My mom throws her breakfast pizza together QUICKLY in the morning using a pre-made crust and a cheesy base.
I, however, like my base to be gravy. Sausage gravy in matter of fact. It does however require a little more work than my mothers pizza, but that is also why I make a large batch of gravy once, and many individual pizzas, and place in freezer for a quick, pop-in-the-microwave breakfast to-go.
Mother’s Breakfast Pizza Ingredients:
- Pre-Made Store Bought Crust or Freezer-Friendly Pizza Crust
- Jar of Cheese, such as Tostitos or Cheez Whiz
- Meat of Your Choice
- Scrambled Eggs
- Shredded Cheese of your Choice
Instructions:
*Assemble accordingly, layering the cheese sauce first, then the rest of the ingredients.
Of course you can add peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc. Whatever your heart desires in the early hours.
Then simply throw in oven at 350 degrees until toppings are melty goodness.
Enjoy!
Tandy’s Breakfast Pizza
Ingredients:
- Freezer-Friendly Pizza Dough or Store Bought Focassia Bread
- Sausage Gravy
- Scrambled Eggs
- Shredded Cheese
Instructions:
*If using the Freezer-Friendly Pizza Dough recipe either remove from freezer or make by clicking on the red text.
If using the Focassia bread, simply slice loaf in half horizontally then into 2-3 inch chunks or rectangles.
Then I spread with butter and toasted on an electric skillet (this step could surely be skipped just wont have that toasty flavor and crunchy texture).
Spread with the sausage gravy, top with scrambled eggs, sprinkle with cheese, and place on a sheet pan to freeze.
